FAQs
I can’t meditate. My mind won’t stop thinking.
1
Everyone can learn this meditation technique successfully. The intention is not to stop thinking. The practice of this technique is effortless, and thoughts are both normal and welcome—everyone experiences them during meditation. In fact, thoughts can be one way the mind and body release stress. Ultimately, we meditate for the positive impact the practice has on our daily lives.
I can’t make these dates. Will you do another one?

Yes. Please contact me at hello@thewisdomwithin.com.au to let me know you are interested in a future course.
How is this technique different to other styles of meditation?
3
The 1 Giant Mind Being technique is based on Vedic meditation, the oldest meditation technique in the world today, originating from the Wisdom traditions of India that are over 5,000 years old. It uses a mantra that effortlessly guides the mind into deeper states of awareness, allowing the nervous system to gently release stress and fatigue. Unlike mindfulness or focus-based techniques, it does not involve concentration, contemplation, or trying to control the mind.
Why invest in this when I can learn for free online?

If you are desiring to start a regular practice, and reap the most benefit from this powerful practice, I highly recommend learning directly from a meditation teacher. Learning in person is especially special! It’s a beautiful experience, and wonderful to share alongside other students. This 3-Day course is comprehensive in that you will be set up for life with this foundational practice. You will be able to ask questions, to have guidance that ensures you are practicing correctly, and committing to this experience will really start the ball rolling with making this part of your everyday.
Is this religious?
No, this technique is an agnostic mental process that awakens deep self-awareness, while fostering calm and allowing the nervous system to gently release stress and fatigue. Although some traditions and religions may practice a Being technique as a part of their practices, the technique itself does not require any specific beliefs or religious orientation.
